As I went up and down the third floor to work, I could easily tell that the owners of this deserted place were the sparrows.The first day I went to the 3rd floor, sparrows feathers were spread all over the classroom floor, and the sparrow family was teaching their children to fly. We are sharing this space.

I picked up the fallen feathers one by one, cleaned them, and weaved them together to make the stem of the plant.The time the sparrows spent in this space, the time they grew up in this space, tells who the owner of this space, Room 312, is.

This work is thin and weak, so it is not very noticeable. However, in the afternoon, when the light shines through the window of 312 and the wind blows, you will meet them who are delicate, shining in the light, making long shadows, and swaying in the wind.

폐교 303의 바닥을 닦으러 3층에 오르내리면, 인적이 드문 이곳의 주인이 참새들 임을 쉽게 알 수 있다. 내가 3층에 간 첫날은 교실 바닥에는 참새 깃털들이 여기저기 흩날리고 있었고, 참새가족들은 자녀들의 비행교육중이었다. 우리는 이 공간을 나누어 사용하고 있다. 

떨어진 깃털들을 하나하나 줍고, 닦고, 엮어서, 식물의 줄기같은 이미지를 만들었다. 참새들이 이 공간에서 보낸 시간, 이 공간에서 자라나는 그들의 시간이 이 공간 Room 312의 주인이 누구임을 알려주는 것이다. 

이 작업은 가늘고 약해서 잘 눈에 띄지 않는다. 하지만 오후가 되어 창으로 빛이 들고, 바람이 들면, 빛을 받아 반짝이고, 긴그림자를 만들며, 바람에 흔들리는 가녀린 그들을 만나게 될 것이다.
