금강변에 뜬 달 /Moon on Geumgang Riverside

22미터 반경 강변에 가변설치, 돌의 위치이동, 2025

하늘이 물이 되고, 물이 땅이 되고, 땅이 하늘이 되면, 

밤에 뜨는 달은 낮에 땅으로 내려온다. 

낮에 땅에 뜬 달은 사람의 손길에 빛이 되고, 

땅을 닦아 빛을 만들어 금강변에 달을 만든다. 

금강 변에 앉아, 3일동안 흐르는 강을 보고, 그 강 옆에 달을 만들었다. 

달과 달의 주위에 두개의 후광을 두어, 강의 흐름과 땅의 지형과 어우러져 흐르는 형상이 되도록 하였다. 

3일동안 금강변에  살며, 바람의 날과, 태양의 날, 비의 날을 경험하였다. 

이렇게 만난 낮에 뜨는 달은 3주간 캐나다 작가들과 한국작가들이 만나 함께 공주의 봄의 하늘과 들판과, 숲과 새들을 만나고,  서로를 알아가며 만들어갈 빛을 상상하게 한다. 

When the sky becomes water, the water becomes earth, and the earth becomes sky, 

The moon that rises at night comes down to the ground during the day.

The moon rising above the ground during the day becomes light to the hands of me. 

Wipe the ground to create light and create the moon on the Geumgang Riverside. 

I sat on the Geumgang riverside, watched the river flow for three days, and created the moon on that sandy riverside. 

The moon and two halos around it were placed to create a flowing shape that blends in with the flow of the river and the terrain of the land. 

Loving on Geumgang riverside for three days, I experienced day of Wind, day of Sun, and day of Rain. 

The Moon on Geumgang riverside, like this makes us imagine the light that Canadian and Korean artists will create together for three weeks, as they meet the sky, fields, forests, and birds of Gongju’s spring and get to know each other.
