2014 by Kim Soonim

Naneun Dol means “flying stone” in Korean, and that stone is ‘me.’ This exhibition expresses a scene in which stones that the artist encountered in each region or country are released from a bag and fly in the sky over Busan. Assorted stones that used to manage their weights and roll on the lowest places moved together with the artist after meeting her one day, arriving in Busan in Autumn 2014, then flew through the space of a moving walkway at Busan Port Passenger Terminal while supported by cotton thread and forgetting their weight.
